By rotating the front ring of the filter, you can adjust the light reduction across 9 stops range from ND3 to ND450 (1.5 to 8.5 stops) using a single filter.
Easy Maintainance
Thanks to the water- and oil-repellent coating, dirt such as water and oil can be easily wiped away.
• X-shaped unevenness or a bluish tint :
Due to the structure of variable ND filters, X-shaped unevenness or a bluish tint may appear in images when the density is set close to maximum or when using short focal length (wide-angle) lenses.
[Regcommended usage]
70mm+ → Up to ND450 (9 stops)
50mm → Up to ND400 (8 2/3stops)
24mm → Up to ND32 (5 stops)
• Vignetting : Due to the thick frame design using four layers of glass, vignetting (darkening of the corners) may occur at focal lengths of approximately 24mm or shorter.
• Lens cap compatibility : A lens cap one size larger than the filter diameter can be attached (for a 49mm filter, use a 52mm lens cap etc.).
