It is difficult and time-consuming to precisely focus on the stars when taking a starry landscape photograph.
You may have experienced that you took the trouble to take a picture, only to find out later that the stars were out of focus and the picture was ruined.

The Kenko
Night Focus is a filter-type focusing tool that allows you to easily and accurately focus on a star.
It attaches to the front of the lens like a regular screw-in filter.
The pattern on the glass surface generates three light stripes from a star's point source, and by adjusting the focus so that the intersection of the three stripes overlaps, you can precisely focus on the star.

The
Bahtinov Mask is a well-known focusing tool for astronomical observations, but the Bahtinov Mask is intended for use with telescopes with a focal length of 500-1000mm.
The Night Focus, on the other hand, is designed for use with focal lengths of 24-70mm and f-stop values of 2.8-4, which are frequently used in stargazing, and thus allows for effective photography that is suited to modern cameras.
In addition, the optional item “Kenko Square Conversion Frame for ø82mm”, and your existing square filter holder can be used together for smooth filter attachment and removal before and after focusing on the stars.
